About the journal
BMJ Paediatrics Open publishes any clinically relevant paper that is ethically and scientifically sound from across the world. The journal has achieved indexing by PubMed Central, the Directory of Open Access Journals and Google Scholar - a credit to the young Editorial Board with members from countries including Cuba and New Zealand. BMJPO is online only, and open access so freely available to anyone who has internet access throughout the world (including parents and young people). It also does not reject on priority like most traditional journals, which are restricted by number of pages in a monthly paper issue.
